I did demolition back in the day…

Back in college, to help pay for my daily purchases I would help my friend’s dad demolish and tear down office spaces.  Well mainly at the Franklin House in Philly.  Boy that was really fun to demolish and destroy!  We totally saved all mirrors and glass to load into the dumpster and hurl iron balls or what have you to shatter them.  Hmmm… maybe that wasn’t such a good idea, I probably now have 2 billion years of bad luck now because of that.

That might not have been a good idea…

But I think my luck is slowly turning around!

I want to make use of that destructive energy into Trash This Dress sessions!  So hopefully I will get some, cause I got some sweet ideas I would love to try out!!  That is … if the potential clients dig it.

I was reading some things in Wanderlust magazine and…

… wondered who was the one giving the tips on taking better photography? Sure you do not need a big DSLR to take great photographs, but it is not just about the MEGAPIXELS! kthnxbai!

It is not just the sensor!! People are getting to intertwined with the megapixels that they tend to forget the other things like, range and quality of their glass, the capabilities of the camera’s AF, color renditions, ISO handling, and that sort! Some cameras, including DSLRs, are coming with too much pixels that it kills the photographs!

So please people, don’t get into the hype of the mega pixels!

Christina’s and An’s Wedding reception!

This was a crazy labor day weekend!  Two weddings in one weekend.. and I didn’t even get paid for them!  The first one, Christina’s and An’s was held at a gorgeous Leonard’s Hall right outside of NYC.  That place held 5 receptions at once!  It was.. amazingly awesome!

Look here for the gallery! ——————> here!

I still have to finish Diep’s and Pitk (spelling?) wedding.  I didn’t get the same feel of intimacy at that wedding.. but I need to work on them and the portraits from last Wednesday!

Two weddings in one weekend!

I just shot two weddings this weekend, one on Friday up in NYC and one today in Philadelphia!  Not to mention that I had a portrait session on Wednesday, I have a lot on my plate to work on!  It was just so sudden that the wedding today was only decided on, Friday or Thursday.  I am still, “whutting” over that.

Whutting = what the heck?!

I hope to get them done as soon as I can to help my portfolio and to show all of you what I have been doing!

My first portrait session was…

Not as great as I hoped.  I should have shot better, without the flash even though it was getting really dark out, huge amounts of over cast, a goofy model, wider aperture than what I used.

But I had a lot of fun shooting for the hour.  It was free and it gave me a taste of portraiture.  So my presumed next one at the end of the month should result in better shots than this first one!
